On February 3, the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the organization and personnel work according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate and organize the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
Accordingly, the activities of the Party Committee of the Civil Affairs Party will end. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Civil Affairs Party will coordinate with Party committees at all levels and agencies to hand over grassroots party organizations, party members and related records and documents to the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Ca Mau City Party Committee; completion date is before February 14, 2025.
End of activities of 3 Party Executive Committees (Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Court) and 8 Party delegations (Provincial People's Council, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Women's Union, Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Veterans' Association, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations).
At the same time, the Provincial Party Executive Committee decided to establish two new Party Committees: the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, 24 party organizations and 716 party members under the Civil Party Committee were transferred to the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies. The Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies is a party organization directly under the provincial Party Committee and is the direct superior of the subordinate grassroots party organizations; has legal status, its own seal and account, and is equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations. The working headquarters is located at the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint comrade Nguyen Duc Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies, term 2020-2025; appoint comrade Huynh Thi Thanh Loan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; transfer and appoint comrade Truong Dang Khoa - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee for Civil Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies.
Transfer 40 party organizations and 4,526 party members under the Party Committee of the People's Committee of the province to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee. The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee is a party organization under the Provincial Party Committee and is the direct superior of the subordinate grassroots party organizations; has legal status, its own seal and account, and is equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations. The working headquarters is located at the office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint comrade Pham Thanh Ngai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, term 2020-2025; appoint comrade Lam Van Bi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - as Deputy Secretary; transfer and appoint comrade Le Binh Nguyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Civil Affairs Party - to hold the position of full-time Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
The conference also approved the decision to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will use the current headquarters of the two old agencies.
Comrade Ho Trung Viet - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - holds the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Deputy Heads include: Comrade Luu Van Vinh, Comrade Nguyen Quoc Tien and Comrade Nguyen Hong Tham.
Comrade Le Thanh Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, resigned from his position as Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and held the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province.
