Deputy Minister of Justice appointed Secretary of Vinh Long Province

On the afternoon of January 18, Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

According to the decision of the Politburo, Mr. Bui Van Nghiem stopped participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and stopped holding the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee to take on a new assignment, holding the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

The Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Tran Tien Dung, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Justice, to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee becomes Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee

On January 18, the Standing Committee of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

The Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, will cease to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and will cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; will be transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and will be appointed to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 9.

On January 18, the Standing Committee of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Secretariat decided to approve Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to join the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of January 17, Can Tho City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decisions on personnel work.

The Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, ceased participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and ceased holding the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; transferred, assigned, and appointed him to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.

The Politburo decided that Mr. Do Thanh Binh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee; transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.

Tuyen Quang City has a new Chairman

On the afternoon of January 13, Tuyen Quang City People's Council held the 10th thematic session.

The City People's Council unanimously voted to pass the Resolution confirming the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City for Mr. Pham Quoc Chuong, with 23/23 votes (100%).
