The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued Resolution No. 1255/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Bac Ninh province for the 2023-2025 period.
Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to arrange commune-level administrative units in Bac Ninh City as follows:
Establish Tien Ninh Ve ward on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 0.33km2, population of 9,890 people of Tien An ward, the entire natural area of 0.58km2, population of 6,447 people of Ve An ward and the entire natural area of 0.82km2, population of 15,036 people of Ninh Xa ward.
After its establishment, Tien Ninh Ve ward had a natural area of 1.73km2 and a population of 31,373 people.
Tien Ninh Ve Ward borders Dai Phuc, Kinh Bac, Suoi Hoa and Vo Cuong wards.
After the arrangement, Bac Ninh City has 17 wards.
Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Luong Tai district as follows:
An Tap commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 4.85 km2 and the population of 4,591 people of Lai Ha commune and the entire natural area of 5.31 km2 and the population of 7,662 people of My Huong commune. After establishment, An Tap commune had a natural area of 10.16 km2 and a population of 12,253 people.
Quang Minh commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 5.43 km2 and the population of 5,207 people of Trung Xa commune and the entire natural area of 5.99 km2 and the population of 5,697 people of Minh Tan commune. After establishment, Quang Minh commune had a natural area of 11.42 km2 and a population of 10,904 people.
After the arrangement, Luong Tai district has 12 commune-level administrative units, including 11 communes and 1 town.
Regarding the commune-level administrative unit of Que Vo town, the entire natural area of 6.02 km2 and population of 5,221 people of Han Quang commune will be merged into Chi Lang commune.
After merging, Chi Lang commune has a natural area of 15.69 km2 and a population of 16,346 people.
After the arrangement, Que Vo town has 20 commune-level administrative units, including 11 wards and 09 communes.
For Gia Binh district, Nhan Thang town is established on the basis of the entire natural area of 8.18 km2 and population of 10,572 people of Nhan Thang commune.
After the establishment of the town, Gia Binh district has 14 commune-level administrative units, including 12 communes and 2 towns.
After rearranging commune-level administrative units, Bac Ninh province has 8 district-level administrative units, including 4 districts, 2 towns and 2 cities; 121 commune-level administrative units, including 66 communes, 50 wards and 5 towns.
This Resolution comes into force from December 1, 2024.
