    On the afternoon of August 29, the Can Tho City Party Committee held a Conference to announce the Decision to rename the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee into the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee and decisions on personnel work.

    Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee decided to rename the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee to the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee. Transfer the functions and tasks of advising on mass mobilization work from the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee to the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Can Tho City. This decision takes effect from September 1, 2026.
