On the afternoon of December 13, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the Can Tho City Delegation met with voters after the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Also attending was Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the meeting, the Can Tho City Delegation reported the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly to voters.
At the conference, voters expressed their high consensus on the results of the 10th Session of the National Assembly, and at the same time, voters made many important and practical proposals and recommendations.

Voter Luong Trong Lu (Vinh Tuong commune, Can Tho city) commented that after starting the implementation of the Can Tho - Hau Giang expressway component project (belonging to the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway project), 40 households have their houses affected (houses cracked).
The Commune People's Committee had discussions with the construction unit, after which the construction unit's insurance came down to verify and record the current status of affected households to have support policies. However, up to now, affected households have not received support money.

Voters also recommended that competent authorities in the city dispatch cadres and civil servants at the city-level departments and branches to commune-level localities to resolve the work well.

Voter Nguyen Van Chien recommended that the locality still has many households in difficult circumstances who are unable to build or repair houses but are not eligible for construction under the program "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" (such as: unnamed residential land, riverside land...) that need the attention of the Party, the State and the whole society. Voters also suggested that the Government continue to have housing support policies for the above subjects.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested that the city focus on implementing tasks to develop the economy, ensure national defense and security and build the city's political system.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested that the Central Resolutions, especially Resolution No. 59 on the development of Can Tho city in the period of industrialization and modernization; Resolution No. 45 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies for the city, be well implemented.
Regarding public investment, there must be synchronous solutions. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that the city's hospitals must be upgraded and repaired to facilitate people's medical examination and treatment. ODA projects, transportation projects, irrigation projects, infrastructure construction projects, etc. need to receive further attention.
The city needs to pay attention to shifting the economic development structure, especially focusing on the fields of agriculture, forestry, and fishery; at the same time, promoting education and training to improve the quality of human resources. In addition, the city will implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science - technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
The National Assembly Chairman pointed out that Can Tho can take the lead in the Mekong Delta provinces or not, but must rely on the field of science and technology, relying on digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI).
