On July 26, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee announced Decision No. 2240-QDNS/TW, dated July 15 of the Central Party Secretariat on appointing Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented the decision of the Central Party Secretariat; presented flowers and congratulated Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police.
In June 2025, the Minister of Public Security decided to transfer Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police to take up the job and hold the position of Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee appointed Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of the Provincial Police to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee.
At the 31st session of the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, the additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term was elected by Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
