On August 13, the first Dong Da Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, solemnly opened the session, with the participation of 225 delegates, representing 6,622 party members of the party.
With the theme "Promoting cultural traditions, heroes, solidarity, discipline, innovation to build a clean and strong Party Committee; Striving to become a model urban ward of "Cultured, civilized, modern" for the happiness of the people, firmly stepping in the era of national growth", term 2025-2030, the Congress identified 6 key tasks; 3 breakthroughs; 2 main groups of solutions, focusing on building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system comprehensively; applying science, technology, innovation, implementing digital transformation for socio-economic development, environmental protection, ensuring national defense and security.
The ward strives for the 2025-2030 period to admit 250 - 300 party members; the average annual increase in total state budget revenue in the area is 8 - 10%; the growth of per capita income per capita is 5-7%; the rate of Cultural families reaches over 98%; the population has access to clean water at 100%; the rate of waste collected and transported per day reaches 100%...
Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organizing Committee Ha Minh Hai requested the Dong Da Ward Party Committee to strongly innovate the promulgation and dissemination and implementation of the Party's resolutions; the content must be concise, clear, easy to understand, easy to implement, easy to check and supervise; especially scientific, close to practice and highly action-oriented.
Focus on building grassroots Party organizations and Party members to unite and truly be " tribes" of the Party, build strong grassroots Party cells with high fighting spirit, capable of implementing the Party's Resolutions into real life.
Regarding planning, according to Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee Ha Minh Hai, planning must be one step ahead with a strategic vision. Therefore, the Ward Party Committee focuses on building a complete, synchronous, unified, "correct - complete - clean - vital" database, thereby analyzing, determining the goals, comprehensively and scientifically assessing the position, role, potential and bottlenecks of the locality.
Next is to prioritize rapid and sustainable economic development on the basis of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; develop a digital economy, a circular economy, and achieve the double-digit growth rate target.
At the Congress, important decisions were announced, including the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary and the Inspection Committee of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030; the Decision to appoint delegates to the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Viet was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
