On April 23, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh chaired a meeting of Steering Committee No. 2 for Party Committees under the Group.
Steering Group No. 2 will direct the Congress of 5 Party Committees including: Ministry of Home Affairs, Government Inspectorate, Government Office, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh is the Head of Steering Committee No. 2.
The Party Committee of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group and the Party Committee of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development are the two Party Committees that will organize a point-to-point congress, on that basis, learn from experience for other Party Committees to organize the congress as planned.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that we are in the preparation and holding of party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party in the context of the Politburo having many instructions and continuously updating the situation.
Accordingly, Party committees must review the term, including the results achieved, the remaining and limited aspects; plan tasks for the new term, conduct personnel work, elect delegates to attend the upper-level Party Congress and participate in contributing opinions on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
The Standing Deputy Prime Minister of the Government emphasized that the spirit of making the point is to make the quality, the Party Committee organized the meeting in particular and the Party Committees of the group must prepare truly thoughtful stages, meet the requirements and tasks set out in the preparation and organization of the Congress.
With 3 ministries and branches not yet completed due to the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister requested the 3 ministries and branches to actively direct and urgently organize lower-level congresses to complete this task as soon as possible.
Regarding the preparation of congress documents of the 5 Party Committees, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government requested that congress documents must be built in a concise, encouraging spirit, with breakthrough, rising up and high action; must cover and thoroughly grasp the new situation, must be clear about the work and content.
"The new situation here is the streamlining work, rearranging the apparatus and organization; the goal of setting higher growth; complicated and unpredictable developments of the world economic situation.
At the meeting, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also gave specific instructions to the Party Committees on personnel work orientation; timelines for preparation and organization of congresses.
At the same time, he emphasized that Party committees need to carry out emulation movements well to practically celebrate the congress.
In particular, these are Party committees with a great political status in social life, so we need to pay close attention to information and propaganda work before the congress in rich, lively, practical and specific forms in the spirit of innovation, breakthrough, and growth.
