On the afternoon of June 29, in Hanoi, the Central Organization Committee held a national conference to summarize the Party building organization work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, decisiveness, and innovation of the Central Organization Committee and the entire Party building organization sector in the past time.
The Head of the Central Organization Committee noted that Party building organizational work in the XIV Congress term needs to approach a new mindset, a new vision as General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized: "Unifying the awareness that Party building, organization, and cadre work are core elements of national governance".
Regarding tasks for the coming time, the Head of the Central Organization Committee noted the construction of a contingent of cadres at all levels to meet the requirements of tasks in the new development stage; proactively prepare a source of leaders and managers at all levels; focus on advising on reviewing and adjusting the planning of strategic-level cadres from now until the end of the term, and at the same time prepare the planning of strategic-level cadres for the XV Congress term and beyond according to the roadmap set out by the Working Program of the 14th Central Executive Committee.
Advise and propose guidelines and solutions to build a grassroots cadre team to meet the requirements of national development in the new era. Focus on reviewing, amending, supplementing, innovating, and "upgrading" outstanding regulations on cadre work...
Along with that, improve the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations and party members. Strengthen the internal political protection work of the political system to meet new task requirements. Advise on strongly innovating thinking and action in leadership, direction, and organization of the protection, care and improvement of cadre health.
Promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party building organizational work, gradually shifting strongly from administrative management to governance, efficiency based on data, results and performance efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc clearly stated the requirement to build a clean and strong Party building organization, exemplary and pioneering in the "strategic advisory system" to plan major guidelines and policies of the Party.
Along with that, pay attention to building a contingent of officials throughout the Party building organization sector who are truly loyal, steadfast, intelligent, brave, exemplary, and proficient in professional skills; have innovative thinking, scientific working methods and modern management capacity; pay attention to training, fostering, and practicing through practice for the contingent of officials working in Party building organization work in central agencies and at the grassroots level.
At the Conference, the Central Organizing Committee was honored to be awarded the First-class Independence Medal for its particularly outstanding and unexpected achievements in summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 "Some issues on continuing to innovate and streamline the organizational structure of the political system, operating effectively and efficiently".
