On June 30, after attending and directing the Ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on the merger of provincial and commune-level administrative units, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc visited and encouraged cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Bac Giang Ward, Bac Ninh Province.
Accompanying him were Mr. Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Mai Son, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.
The headquarters of the People's Committee of Bac Giang Ward is located at the headquarters of the old Dinh Ke Ward People's Committee, officially coming into operation from July 1.
On the morning of June 30, the headquarters was decorated and the new ward badge was installed, and officials and civil servants were working normally, and many people came to do administrative procedures. The staff enthusiastically guides each person, regardless of the number of citizens and the confusion with the process and procedures.
Bac Giang ward was established on the basis of merging 7 wards of the old Bac Giang city, including: Tho Xuong, Ngo Quyen, Xuong Giang, Hoang Van Thu, Tran Phu, Dinh Ke and Dinh Tri. After the merger, the ward has a total area of over 23 km2 (422% compared to the regulations), a population of about 123,000 people (equivalent to 585% compared to the regulations), with 97 residential groups, a central area with large population size and high population density.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of the Bac Giang ward government from July 1, 2025, the arrangement and preparation work has been implemented synchronously and methodically early.
At the Bac Giang Ward Public Administration Service Center, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc visited, encouraged and learned about the preparation and implementation of tasks of the staff and civil servants here.
The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee acknowledged the spirit of serious work and emphasized the need to continue to innovate and apply technology to improve the quality of service for people and businesses.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc suggested that the ward focus on promoting propaganda work, instructing people to submit documents online remotely, in order to reduce the burden on the one-stop department and save time and costs for people.
Current reality shows that the number of people submitting their own documents online is still small, because many people do not have access to information technology, lack appropriate equipment at home or do not have a clear understanding of the implementation process.
Therefore, it is necessary to promote the role of local youth, police, and technology- savvy women to support people in performing online public services, especially procedures with high demand such as judicial confirmation.
Units and localities need to focus on synchronous digital transformation and fully equip information technology equipment to promote the provision of comprehensive online public services.
The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee believes that with this working spirit, the Ward Public Administration Service Center will handle administrative procedures for people and businesses more conveniently, thoughtfully and quickly.
