Chairman of Hanoi: Urgently collect opinions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts and towns to urgently collect public opinions on the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of the city.

On April 19, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh sent a document to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities on the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of the city to collect public opinions and organize People's Council meetings at all levels.

The document stated that, based on the Conclusion No. 126, 127 and 128 of the Politburo, the Secretariat on the implementation of the research and proposal to continue organizing the organizational structure of the political system; Conclusion No. 137 on the scheme of arranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a model of two -level local government organizations; Resolution No. 60 of the 11th Conference of the XIII Party Central Committee; Resolution No. 76/2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on arranging administrative units in 2025.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 03 of the Steering Committee for the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and building a model of organizing local government at both levels on orienting a number of tasks of arranging administrative units and organizing local government at both levels; on organizing the apparatus of civil servants and public employees when implementing the arrangement.

Based on the results of the conference disseminating, thoroughly and agreed on the draft plan between the Standing Committee of the City Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the districts, towns and towns; The City People's Committee has completed the draft plan of arranging administrative units at the commune level of Hanoi City to send to People's Committees of districts, towns and towns to organize people's opinions and approve People's Councils at all levels about the plan of arranging administrative units at the commune level of Hanoi City as prescribed.

The Hanoi People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to urgently implement according to the instructions of Hanoi City; during the implementation process, if there are difficulties and problems, units should promptly report to the Hanoi People's Committee (through the Department of Home Affairs) to advise the City People's Committee for consideration and direction.

Ba Dinh District currently has 13 wards, expected to be arranged into 3 wards: Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha and Giang Vo.

Hai Ba Trung District currently has 15 wards, expected to be arranged into 3 wards: Hai Ba Trung, Bach Mai and Vinh Tuy.

Hoan Kiem district currently has 18 wards, expected to be arranged into 2 wards: Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam.

Dong Da district currently has 17 wards, expected to be arranged into 5 wards: Dong Da, Lang, O Cho Dua, Kim Lien and Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam.

Thanh Xuan District currently has 11 wards, expected to be arranged into 3 wards: Thanh Xuan, Khuong Dinh, Phuong Liet.

Cau Giay District currently has 8 wards, expected to be arranged into 3 wards: Cau Giay, Nghia Do and Yen Hoa.

Tay Ho District currently has 8 wards, expected to be arranged into 3 wards: Tay Ho, Hong Ha, Phu Thuong.

Hoang Mai district currently has 14 wards, expected to be arranged into 7 wards: Dinh Cong, Hoang Liet, Tuong Mai, Hoang Mai, Yen So, Vinh Hung and Linh Nam.

Long Bien district has 13 wards, expected to be arranged into 4 wards: Viet Hung, Bo De, Long Bien and Phuc Loi.

Ha Dong district has 15 wards, expected to be arranged into 5 wards: Ha Dong, Duong Noi, Yen Nghia, Kien Hung and Phu Luong.

Bac Tu Liem District currently has 13 wards, expected to be arranged into 5 wards: Bac Tu Liem 1 (Tay Tuu Ward); Bac Tu Liem 2 (Phu Dien Ward); Bac Tu Liem 3 (Xuan Dinh Ward); Bac Tu Liem 4 (Dong Ngac Ward); Bac Tu Liem 5 (Thuong Cat Ward).

Nam Tu Liem District currently has 10 wards, expected to be arranged into 4 wards: Tu Liem, Tay Mo, Dai Mo and Xuan Phuong.

Soc Son district currently has 26 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 5 communes: Soc Son, Noi Bai, Kim Anh, Da Phuc, Trung Gia.

Dong Anh district currently has 24 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 5 communes: Dong Anh, Thu Lam, Phuc Thinh, Thien Loc, Vinh Thanh.

Me Linh district currently has 17 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 4 communes: Me Linh, Quang Minh, Yen Lang, Tien Thang.

My Duc district currently has 20 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 4 communes: Phuc Son, Hong Son, My Duc, Huong Son.

Chuong My district currently has 30 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 6 communes: Chuong My, Chuong My 2 (Phu Nghia), Chuong My 3 (Xuan Mai), Chuong My 4 (Tran Phu), Chuong My 5 (Hoa Phu), Chuong My 6 (Quang Bi).

Ba Vi district currently has 29 communal administrative units, expected to arrange into 8 communes: Ba Vi 1 (Quang Oai); Ba Vi 2 (again); Ba Vi 3 (Co Do); Ba Vi 4 (Cam Da); Ba Vi 5 (Suoi Hai); Ba Vi 6 (Ba Vi); Ba Vi 7 (Yen Bai); Ba Vi 8 is Minh Chau commune.

Ung Hoa district currently has 29 commune-level administrative units, expected to be reorganized into 4 communes: Van Dinh, Ung Thien, Hoa Xa and Ung Hoa.

Quoc Oai district currently has 16 commune-level administrative units, expected to be reorganized into 4 communes: Quoc Oai, Kieu Phu, Phu Cat and Hung Dao.

Hoai Duc district currently has 20 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 4 communes: Hoai Duc, Duong Hoa, Son Dong, An Khanh.

Thanh Oai district currently has 20 commune-level administrative units, expected to be arranged into 4 communes: Binh Minh, Tam Hung, Thanh Oai, Dan Hoa.
