Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang has just signed and issued Decision No. 2003/QD-UBND on consolidating the Steering Committee for protecting state secrets of Hanoi City.

Decision to consolidate the Steering Committee for protecting state secrets of Hanoi City (Steering Committee), including the following gentlemen and women:

- Head of the Steering Committee: Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee.

- Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee: Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat - Colonel, Deputy Director of the City Police; Mr. Hoang Van Bang - Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi City Party Committee; Mr. Vo Tuan Anh - Deputy Chief of Office of the City People's Committee.

- Members of the Steering Committee are leaders of a number of departments, branches, and related units.

The Steering Committee has the function and task of advising and proposing to the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to direct and implement the work of protecting state secrets in Hanoi City.
