No Empty spaces, blind spots, and criminal area cages
On the morning of July 7, in Hanoi, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review public security work in the first 6 months of 2025; determine the direction and key tasks of the last 6 months of 2025.
Attending and giving a speech at the Conference, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong praised the efforts, efforts and great achievements of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) in the past time.
President Luong Cuong emphasized that the People's Public Security force needs to proactively grasp the situation; continue to improve capacity and quality of research and forecasting, promptly advise the Party and State on appropriate policies and solutions, handle early and remote plots and sabotage tricks of hostile forces; absolutely do not be passive or surprised in any situation; maintain a peaceful and stable environment to build and develop the country.
The President suggested that the Ministry of Public Security proactively coordinate closely with departments, branches, sectors, forces and localities in the cause of protecting the Fatherland, building a movement of the entire people to protect national security; building a people's security (ANND), the ANND posture, associated with building a national defense posture, especially a solid people's heart posture; ensuring good political security, order and social safety in the implementation of local government at 2 levels; not allowing the entire apparatus to affect social management, serving agencies, businesses and people; absolutely do not let gaps or interruptions of work, leave no gaps, blind spots or clogs in criminal areas.
Resolutely suppressing all types of crimes
Along with that, the President requested the People's Public Security force to focus on resolutely and effectively suppressing all types of crimes and social evils, ensuring the lives, property and health of people; especially crimes and violations of environmental laws, food safety, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods; drug crimes, high-tech crimes, online fraud; organized crimes.
The forces ensure absolute safety for important events of the country, key goals and projects; effectively carry out foreign affairs activities and international cooperation of the People's Public Security Forces with international partners and organizations in protecting national sovereignty and security, protecting national and ethnic interests.
According to the President, it is necessary to focus on implementing the tasks of building a National Data Center and digital transformation; continue to research and advise on the security, safety, creating a healthy and civilized environment, contributing to socio-economic development, attracting investment and tourism; raising citizens' awareness in complying with and complying with the law; effectively implementing natural disaster prevention, control, search and rescue, contributing to bringing a peaceful and happy life to the people.
The President noted that the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security need to lead and direct the work of building a truly clean and strong Party Committee, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force.
The President also requested the Ministry to review and organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's Traditional Day; the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection; the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and all generals, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, workers and employees, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - respectfully thanked the special attention of the Party, State and the President personally to the People's Public Security force. The entire force seriously accepted the instructions; affirmed that this is also an important orientation of the Party and State for the task of ensuring security, order, maintaining social order and safety and building the People's Public Security force in the coming time.
