Typically, the arrangement of the organizational structure has reduced 921 management units, equivalent to about 53.3%; reduced 2,308 leadership and management positions, equivalent to 42.2%. The entire sector currently has 14,771 officials out of a total of 15,860 assigned staff positions, lower than the assigned staff position.
According to the National Assembly Chairwoman, the Party and State always recognize and highly appreciate the merits and contributions of the People's Procuracy sector. This includes protecting justice, protecting human rights, citizens' rights, and the legitimate rights and interests of the State, organizations, and individuals.
Besides the achieved results, the National Assembly Chairwoman said that the Inspection Delegation still recognizes some shortcomings that need to be further addressed.
In which, digital transformation work is still heavily focused on project development, lacking practical operational indicators; there are no data on inter-connection with investigating agencies and courts; there is no indicator to shorten the processing time of cases.
Regarding orientations in the coming time, the National Assembly Chairwoman requested to do a good job of Party building, building a clean, strong, modern sector, operating smoothly, effectively, efficiently, and efficiently the 3-level People's Procuracy model; promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, discipline, order, and integrity throughout the sector.
Pay special attention to building a contingent of procuracy officials with firm political bravery, deep expertise, pure ethics, strict discipline, courage to protect the right and resolutely fight against the wrong.
In prosecution activities, it is necessary to ensure the correct law, the right people, the right crimes, prevent wrongful convictions, let criminals escape, handle them strictly, and also ensure humanity and humanitarianism.
In supervising judicial activities, it is necessary to ensure that all investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment enforcement activities are in accordance with the law; judicial power is strictly controlled; crime, corruption, and negativity are prevented and combated right from law enforcement agencies.
The National Assembly Chairwoman also emphasized the requirement to strengthen digital transformation, apply science, technology, artificial intelligence, modernize the Procuracy sector, towards the electronic People's Procuracy model, abolish intermediate procedures, and improve the efficiency of work processing.
The application of technology helps the industry achieve 3 goals: Accuracy (reducing subjective errors), Transparency (easy to check and supervise), Efficiency (saving time and human resources).
In addition, tighten the inspection, supervision, and evaluation of officials, associated with the results of task implementation. Improve the inter-sectoral coordination mechanism throughout the litigation process.
Accepting the directing opinions, Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Huy Tien affirmed that he will promote the prevention and combat of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity within the internal ranks; maintain discipline and order; strengthen supervision, evaluation of officials and application of digital transformation.
