On the morning of November 9, Mr. Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam attended the Great Unity Festival of the entire nation in Chau Thanh residential area, An Ninh commune, Can Tho city.
Also attending were Mr. Lam Van Man, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Le Quang Tung - member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; leaders of Can Tho City and An Ninh Commune; venerable, excellent, venerable, venerable members of the City's Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks of the City, abbot of pagodas in the area.

Over the past year, the Chau Thanh Hamlet Front Working Committee (An Ninh Commune, Can Tho City) has actively coordinated well with Party Cell and Hamlet organizations to achieve outstanding achievements in mobilizing cadres, union members, members and people to carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas".
Currently, the whole hamlet has 1,119 households, of which 1,078 households have achieved the title of Cultural Family, accounting for 98.2%; 100% of households use electricity, 96% of households use clean water, more than 95% of people participate in health insurance. The whole hamlet still has 11 poor households and 24 near-poor households; many households are supported for livelihoods through cattle farming models, rice cooperatives, cooperatives... contributing to increasing income and stabilizing their lives.

Typical community models such as "Lighting up the countryside", "Fatherland Flag Tower Road", Community Cluster Clubs, movements to help each other develop the economy, eliminate dilapidated houses continue to be effective. The cultural and sports movement remains vibrant, notably the Ngo Chua Tum Nup boat team winning the men's and women's championship for 3 consecutive years, creating a highlight of solidarity and local identity.
