Gia Lai - After the storm, floods swept away the spillway, isolating hundreds of households.

On November 9, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command directed the Provincial Defense Command of Region 5 - Ayun Pa to deploy an approach plan to rescue and ensure the safety of the people.

Due to the impact of storm No. 13, heavy rain accompanied by strong water flows. On the night of November 8 and early morning of November 9, the Chu Te and Ia Rsai spillways (connecting the old Ia Rsai commune and Chu Racham commune, Gia Lai province) were swept away 17 m.

The incident isolated and directly threatened the safety of 112 households with 521 people. Officers and soldiers were mobilized to the people to grasp the situation, bring drinking water, food, encourage and stabilize the people.

As of 7:00 a.m. on November 9, the water level had decreased rapidly, and forces were using specialized vehicles to bring people to safety.

At the same time, drivers of excavators and excavators are making efforts to construct and repair the damaged road so that traffic and daily life can soon return to normal.
