Direct and organize the implementation of measures to protect the urban environment, manage waste and wastewater, control environmental pollution, protect green space and the urban ecosystem according to the provisions of law;
The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee also has the right to direct and be responsible for managing, maintaining and repairing urban infrastructure; inspecting compliance with the law in the construction of houses and construction works in urban areas according to the provisions of law;
Direct and organize the implementation of measures to ensure security, order, crime prevention, traffic safety, traffic congestion prevention, fire and explosion prevention, and ensure a safe living environment for urban residents according to the provisions of law;
Direct and organize the implementation of urban population management and prevention of social evils in urban areas according to the provisions of law;
Perform the task of managing and protecting space, architecture and urban landscape;
Guiding and inspecting the self-management activities of residential groups in the area according to the provisions of law.
