On the morning of June 18, the People's Council of Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province held a mid-year meeting.
At this session, after assessing the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and preparing conditions for merging administrative units into the new Mui Ne ward, the delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam from the position of Chairman of the Mui Ne Ward People's Committee.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, the Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee issued a decision to temporarily suspend Mr. Lam from the position of Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee for a period of 15 days, starting from May 15. The reason is to review and handle responsibilities in state management of land and construction in the ward.
After the above deadline, the Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee continued to sign a decision to extend the temporary suspension of Mr. Lam from the position of Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee for another 15 days. At the same time, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City issued a document asking for the opinion of the Standing Committee of the Phan Thiet City Party Committee to agree to let the Ward People's Council vote on the dismissal of Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward after temporarily suspending him from his position.
