To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force and the 20th Anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Editorial Board of Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee to organize the 2025 "Independence Day" art and political program with the theme: "For a prosperous Vietnam".
The program was attended by Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; General Luong Tam Quang - Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; Editor-in-Chief of Hoang Trung Dung Communist Magazine; Alternate members of the Party Central Committee; leaders of ministries, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and scientists.
"Sao Doan" is an annual program during the August autumn days, aiming to honor the cultural and historical values of the nation; the patriotism and indomitable will of the heroic generation of Vietnamese people who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam.
The program also emphasizes the great achievements over the past 8 decades, especially in nearly 40 years of national renovation, thereby demonstrating the determination of the entire Party, army and people to bring the country into a new era.
The program content revolves around the theme of praising the Party and great Uncle Ho; the heroic revolutionary history, the cause of innovation - integration of the country, thereby creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, while encouraging and motivating all classes of people to actively study, compete in labor production, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025.
This year, the program has innovated the content and methods of artistic performance, helping the public, especially young audiences, to better understand and be more proud of the heroic Vietnamese nation, the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, the great President Ho Chi Minh, and the People's Public Security force "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people".
Through that, the Organizing Committee hopes to inspire young people - the core force, important for the goal of a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the new era.
The program is structured into 3 chapters, including Under the Scriptive Flag of the Golden Star Flies; Journey to build peace; Aspiration for Vietnam prosperity.
"Sao Doan" has 15 performances with a variety of art genres such as singing, dancing, music, and lyrics combined with sound, lighting, Hologam technology images... both historical and traditional but also combining creative colors of contemporary art.
