On August 18, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security - attended and directed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Housing Construction Project for the People's Public Security Armed Forces (CAND) on Le Trong Tan Street, Duong Noi Ward, Hanoi City.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, the project to build houses for police officers and soldiers at the land plot marked 6.2 under the S4 Zoning Plan, Le Trong Tan Street, Duong Noi Ward, Hanoi City has a land use scale of about 11,263 m2, of which: Construction of 3 blocks of 30-storey social housing with about 1,056 apartments, providing accommodation for about 2,500 people.
This is a meaningful project, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day, contributing to solving the housing needs of police officers and soldiers in Hanoi.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc said that in the past time, implementing the Government's direction as well as starting from the urgent need for housing for officers and soldiers, the Ministry of Public Security has closely coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee and agencies, units and localities to start 2 housing construction projects for the People's Public Security armed forces in Khuong Dinh ward and Thanh Liet ward, Hanoi city.
The project to build houses for the People's Public Security Armed Forces in Duong Noi ward is the third project to start construction in August 2025.
Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc suggested that investors focus resources, means, and intelligence to urgently implement construction immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony; continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to implement advanced construction measures and solutions, aiming to complete the project to ensure technical, aesthetic, and progress quality.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Public Security suggested that departments, branches, sectors, and local authorities continue to accompany and closely coordinate with investors to complete the project in accordance with regulations.
Understanding the importance and significance of the project, the representative of the Investor consortium - Xuan Mai - Nam Ha Noi Company Limited pledged to focus all the best resources in terms of finance, human resources and equipment to implement the project; strictly comply with construction standards, technical regulations, and legal regulations to ensure the highest quality of the project.
