Talking to the press, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong said that the visit of President Luong Cuong and the high -ranking delegation of the Party and the State of Vietnam have many meanings. This is the first state visit to Laos of President Luong Cuong, showing the high importance and high priority of Vietnam with Laos and the determination of the leaders of the two parties and the two countries to promote special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation in Vietnam - Laos.
The visit took place when the two parties and the two countries were drastically implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress and the socio -economic development plan of each country, and at the same time promoted the successful implementation of the results between the two Politburo, the meeting between the three leaders of the three parties of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, the meeting of the Intergovernment Committee of Vietnam - Laos and many other senior agreements. The visit will contribute to concretizing and promoting the deployment of many cooperation contents of the two countries in a more actual and effective way next time.
The visit took place in the historic April days of 2025 - the year had many memories in both countries, in which Vietnam celebrated the 80th anniversary of the National Day, 50 years of the liberation of the South, reunification of the country, and Laos to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Day. This is a gratitude visit, an opportunity for the two parties and the two countries to review the tradition of attachment, the faithful relationship "unique" "deeper than the water of Hong Ha, Cuu Long" of the brothers, comrades who have been shoulder to shoulder, sharing sweetness in the resistance and building the country.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that, although the situation of the world and the region has many complicated and unpredictable developments, Vietnam -Laos relations are always concerned by the two parties and the two countries. The two countries regularly exchange groups, meet and meet at all levels, especially high levels. Through visitors and meetings with many different mechanisms, the leaders of the two parties and the two countries have strengthened their trust and attachment, and achieved many important strategic agreements, demonstrating the determination to strengthen the special friendship platform, promoting increasingly deep, practical, effective and long -term relations.
