At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police affirmed that digital transformation is a key driving force for socio-economic development, innovating national governance methods, helping the country make a breakthrough in the new era.
The "Digital education movement" is inherited in spirit from the movement initiated by President Ho Chi Minh 80 years ago, now with the mission of popularizing digital skills, helping people access and master technology.
In recent times, Hanoi Police have promoted digital transformation with many specific solutions, including developing a Digital Transformation Project for the period 2025-2030. In particular, the unit has deployed an integrated AI camera system capable of remote recognition, 360-degree scanning, clearly identifying objects, phenomena, and objects at a distance of 500 - 700m, operating in all weather conditions.
The AI- integrated camera also has the ability to warn of crowds gathering, identify subjects, manage urban traffic smartly, automatically adjust the traffic light system in real time; can create a "green wave" effect; automatically identify and update violating vehicles on the system.
Thanks to this support, the traffic police do not need to go directly to the police station at many hot spots, thereby reducing pressure on officers and soldiers and increasing the effectiveness of supervision, said Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung.

The "Digital education movement" is not just a simple skills training program, but is identified as a thinking revolution in the entire force.
The Director of Hanoi City Police emphasized: "We learn to master technology, handle work faster, more accurately, and serve the people better".
The Director of Hanoi Police requires units to clearly define roadmaps, tasks, flexibility, creativity, and practicality in implementation. Learning digital skills must become a regular task, closely linked to practical work.
At the same time, each officer and soldier needs to fulfill their nuclear role in spreading, not only self-study but also to guide and support their teammates and people, especially the elderly and the disadvantaged, in accessing online public services.
After the launching ceremony, intensive training courses on digital skills, digital transformation and AI application were organized, helping officers and soldiers confidently apply technology in their daily tasks.
This is an important first step in the comprehensive digital transformation process of Hanoi City Police, the core force in building a digital government and digital society in the capital.
