On February 28, Thai Binh Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of the Provincial Police apparatus; the decision of the Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee on transferring 4 functions and tasks of departments and branches to the Provincial Police and the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of the Public Security apparatus of provinces and centrally run cities; the decision to dissolve the District and City Police from March 1.
According to the content of this decision, the Public Security of 7 districts and 1 city in Thai Binh is dissolved, including: Kien Xuong District Police, Tien Hai District Police, Thai Thuy District Police, Quynh Phu District Police, Hung Ha District Police, Dong Hung District Police, Vu Thu District Police and Thai Binh City Police.
Next, the Organizing Committee also announced the decision of the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee on the Provincial Police receiving 4 functions and tasks of departments, branches and units from March 1, including: Receiving the task of ensuring network information security from the Department of Information and Communications; State management of drug addiction treatment and post- addiction management from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; issuing criminal records and performing public services to issue Judicial records from the Department of Justice; State management of testing and issuing road motor vehicle driving licenses from the Department of Transport.
These are important tasks that have been proactively coordinated by Thai Binh Provincial Police with relevant departments and branches to advise and report to the Provincial Party Committee - Provincial People's Committee for direction, and at the same time develop a plan to organize the transfer and reception according to regulations.
Finally, the organizing committee announced the decision of the Director of Thai Binh Provincial Police on personnel work, in which 30 individuals were transferred to the positions of Department Head, Deputy Department Head and equivalent under the Provincial Police.
