On the afternoon of March 17, at the Government Headquarters, Inspection Team No. 1910 of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2025 held a conference to announce the draft report of the Inspection Team to the Government Party Committee.
Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man - Head of Inspection Team No. 1910 and Politburo member - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - co-chaired the conference.
According to VNA, the draft report of the Inspection Team assessed that, implementing Resolution No. 18, the Government Party Committee and the Government Party Committee have promptly led and directed the Government to gradually build and perfect the institution on organizational apparatus, in line with the policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and promoting decentralization and delegation of power.
In which, the set goals and tasks are initially completed; gradually reducing intermediate levels and units; especially actively implementing the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels, associated with reducing staff.
Directive No. 35 is implemented seriously and on schedule according to instructions and regulations; effectively implement inspection, supervision, disciplinary action, resolve complaints and denunciations; review key standards for personnel.
After its establishment, along with leading and implementing the arrangement of the apparatus and regular tasks, the Government Party Committee continues to lead and direct the organization of congresses for the 2025-2030 term for affiliated party organizations.
In particular, the Government Party Committee has resolutely and synchronously implemented Conclusion 123. Accordingly, thoroughly grasp, develop scenarios, assign targets to each ministry, branch and locality; perfect institutions, reform administrative procedures, clear bottlenecks and mobilize all resources for development.
The inspection team also pointed out a number of limitations, difficulties and problems; in which, the internal arrangement of organizations in the political system at some agencies and units is sometimes slow.
The preparation for party congresses at some affiliated Party committees is still passive; online public services, data management, and digital platforms have not met the requirements at times and in some places.
Along with difficulties and challenges due to objectivity, there are still institutional bottlenecks, resource limitations... so it will be difficult to create a breakthrough, a big challenge to overcome.
Concluding the conference, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Inspection Team to continue to coordinate with the Government Party Committee to review the inspection contents, placed in the context and characteristics of the newly established and improved Government Party Committee.
The process of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system and reorganizing local administrative units is being actively carried out; ensuring "reasonable understanding; unreasonable understanding; complete understanding".
With a huge, difficult, diverse and rich workload, the Party Committee of the Government, the Government, and the Prime Minister have been very proactive, organizing work day and night, without days off; implementing methodically, seriously, responsibly, synchronously, and with high quality.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that in the coming time, the Government Party Committee should continue to review and handle projects and works that are causing waste; have solutions to manage facilities in restructuring the apparatus and arranging administrative units.
