Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Head of the Politburo's Inspection Delegation No. 190 chaired the conference.
According to the Government Electronic Newspaper, the Inspection Team has announced the decision, plan, and inspection program of the Politburo with the following contents: Summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently"; Conclusion 121-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on summarizing Resolution 18, associated with the establishment and operation of new Party Committees.
At the same time, inspect the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 to adjust and supplement a number of contents of Directive 35.
Along with that is the dissemination, implementation and implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; the implementation of Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Project to supplement socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the role and important contributions of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau to the common development of the Southeast region and the whole country.
In particular, the Prime Minister highly appreciated Ho Chi Minh City's efforts in economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. "One percentage point of Ho Chi Minh City's growth contributes 1.5%-1.7% to the country's GDP" - the Prime Minister cited, showing the city's importance in the national economy.
For Binh Duong, the Prime Minister commented that this is one of the creative localities, with synchronous infrastructure and strong labor attraction thanks to a good living environment.
Meanwhile, Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the province with the highest per capita income in the country, with a large economic scale.
Emphasizing the country's two main driving forces, the Red River Delta and the Southeast, the Prime Minister affirmed that Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City play a core role, requiring priority mechanisms and policies for stronger development.
In addition to the achievements, the Prime Minister also pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the policy implementation process and requested localities to strengthen the fight against corruption, negativity and waste. At the same time, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to build a team of dynamic and creative cadres to meet development requirements.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution 18, the Prime Minister clearly stated the policy of reducing district-level and streamlining the administrative apparatus to facilitate development. Along with that is to promote administrative procedure reform, reduce compliance costs for businesses and people, and at the same time ensure effective management of State agencies.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the driving role of the Southeast region in the country's economic development. The Prime Minister requested that localities in the region not only develop individually but also need connection and support for other provinces and cities to create even development.

Referring to inspection and supervision work, the Prime Minister affirmed that this is an important task, requiring ensuring democracy, objectivity, honesty, seriousness and avoiding formality. The Prime Minister requested a correct assessment of the achieved results as well as the limitations and shortcomings of local Party Committees.
The inspection not only aims to detect errors but also synthesizes models and creative ways of doing things to replicate. At the same time, the inspection process needs to make timely recommendations to remove difficulties and obstacles, helping localities effectively implement major policies of the Party.
The Prime Minister requested that inspected units uphold the spirit of self-criticism, proactively review and fully report on the implementation of tasks. Localities need to closely coordinate with inspection teams, providing timely documents and records to ensure the highest efficiency of inspection.
