Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan attended and presented personnel decisions of the Hanoi Party Committee to key leadership positions of Tu Liem ward.
According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu - former Secretary of the Nam Tu Liem District Party Committee was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Tu Liem Ward Party Committee.
Mr. Do Khac Dao - former Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - former Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee holds the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Tu Liem Ward Party Committee Nguyen Quang Hieu pledged to work with the local leadership to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, quickly stabilize the organization, overcome difficulties in the process of converting administrative units.
He emphasized the determination to build Tu Liem ward into a strong united bloc, operating effectively, serving people and businesses well.
As of today, preparations for the operation of the two-level local government model in Tu Liem ward have been basically completed. The system of signs and new ward nameplates has been installed synchronously; the ward headquarters is equipped with a touch screen to open administrative procedures, information lookup kiosks and a modern online conference system with three meeting rooms and three stable transmission lines, ensuring smooth connection with the city.
Tu Liem ward currently has an area of 10.09km2, with a population of nearly 79,000 people. With its geographical location, synchronous infrastructure and a team of staff being strengthened, Tu Liem ward is expected to become a model in building a modern, friendly and effective grassroots government in the capital.
