Attending the announcement of the inspection decision at the headquarters of the Government Inspectorate were representatives of the leaders of the provinces of Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Kon Tum.
Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh - Senior Inspector, Deputy Director of Department II, Government Inspectorate - Head of the inspection team announced the full text of Decision No. 566/QD-TTCP of the Government Inspector General on the inspection of the management and use of land originating from agricultural and forestry companies under the Vietnam Paper Corporation in the Central Highlands provinces.
Accordingly, the inspection team consists of 7 members. The inspection period is from the date of land allocation or lease by the State to November 31, 2024 (if necessary, it can be considered before or after the above period). The inspection period is 60 actual working days at the unit, from the date of announcement of the Inspection Decision.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Tien Dat said that this was an inspection conducted under the direction of the Prime Minister with the aim of assessing the situation and results of the implementation of legal policies in the management and use of agricultural and forestry land of the Paper Corporation in the Central Highlands provinces; assessing the situation and results of the settlement of complaints and disputes over land of agricultural and forestry origin, especially complicated cases with potential risks of insecurity and disorder.
On that basis, recommendations are made to the Prime Minister for solutions related to policies and socio-economic development.
To successfully carry out this important inspection, Deputy Inspector General Le Tien Dat requested the leaders of the People's Committees of Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong provinces and the Paper Corporation to direct relevant agencies, organizations and units to strictly implement the inspection decision; closely coordinate and create conditions for the inspection team to successfully complete the assigned tasks and plans.
Mr. Le Tien Dat said that the inspection was carried out at the end of the year, when agencies, organizations and units were very busy, so he requested the inspection team to arrange their working schedule and the requests for documents must be scientific, specific and clear so that the local authorities could conveniently provide and coordinate. The inspection process did not affect the normal operations of the inspected units.
