Digital technology industry strives to achieve a minimum revenue of 300 billion USD by 2030

By 2030, the revenue of the digital technology industry will reach at least 300 billion USD and by 2045 it will be the leading digital technology industry center in the region.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung signed Decision No. 840/QD-TTg dated May 13th, approving the Digital Technology Industry (CNS) Development Program for the period 2026-2030, vision 2045 (Program).

The program clearly states the development of CNS industry with the spirit of "Make in Viet Nam" - creating in Vietnam, making in Vietnam to lead; Vietnamese enterprises master technology, proactively and creatively in research, design, production and supply of CNS products and services, master the domestic market and improve competitiveness, leading to reach global.

The program strives to achieve a minimum revenue of 300 billion USD for the CNS industry by 2030; the average growth rate of the industry in the period 2026-2030 reaches 12% or more.

The export revenue of CNS products and services of CNS Vietnam enterprises reaches at least 55 billion USD/year, with an average growth rate of at least 30%/year.

Strive to reach 100,000 CNS enterprises; train and develop a team of over 3 million CNS industrial workers.

Form 16 - 20 concentrated CNS zones, of which at least 1 is a large-scale concentrated CNS zone, suitable for the development orientation and goals of key economic regions; form at least 1 high-performance computing center for common use to solve major tasks and problems, supporting the development of key CNS products and services.

Vision to 2045, Vietnam becomes a country with a developed CNS industry, a leading CNS industry center in the region and rises to the leading group in the world; the CNS industry becomes a key economic sector, making important contributions to national growth and prosperity.

To achieve the above objectives, the program proposes a number of key tasks and solutions:

Continue to improve institutions and improve the effectiveness of policy and law implementation on CNS industry; promote research and development of CNS products and services; develop CNS enterprises.

Develop CNS industrial human resources; develop modern and synchronous CNS industrial infrastructure; promote and promote investment in CNS industrial activities; develop the CNS industrial market and supply chain.

Sustainable development of the CNS industry; building and operating the information system, industrial CNS database; supporting the development of the semiconductor industry.

To promote research and development of CNS products and services, programs to support research and development of CNS products and services; implement research and production projects of CNS products and services, artificial intelligence, semiconductor according to legal regulations; support and develop key CNS products and services.

The program supports CNS enterprises to improve production organization capacity, quality of CNS products and services; supports CNS enterprises to apply advanced quality management processes according to international standards to enhance the reputation of CNS products and services "Make in Viet Nam"; deploys activities to support CNS enterprises to reach out to the international market.
