On March 10, news from Da Nang City People's Committee said that the Da Nang City Party Committee has just issued Directive No. 14/CT-TU on strengthening leadership and management to ensure urban order and implement a civilized lifestyle in Da Nang city.
In recent years, the work of managing urban order and implementing a civilized lifestyle has been concerned and directed by all levels, achieving positive results, gradually entering order and creating a good impression on people and tourists. However, the situation of encroaching on sidewalks and roadways for business; placing pots of plants, signs, advertisements, classified ads; leaving garbage in the wrong place and at the wrong time; noise pollution still occurs in some areas, especially densely populated areas, affecting urban aesthetics and people's lives.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requests all levels and sectors to overcome limitations, continue to promote propaganda and legal education; raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people in complying with regulations on urban order and civilized lifestyle; identify this as an important, regular and long-term political task.
Localities focus on reviewing and completing regulations on urban order management; handling inadequacies in planning related to drainage, flooding, landscape architecture, traffic infrastructure; attracting resources to improve landscapes, parks, parking lots, especially on central roads and tourist streets.
The city strives for 100% of communes and wards to ensure sidewalk order, environmental sanitation, urban aesthetics; organize the arrangement of sidewalks and roadways; draw lines to demarcate on sidewalks; request the removal of obstacles, not encroaching on sidewalks for business; gradually eliminate "makeshift markets", "temporary markets", illegal advertisements and signs.
At the same time, arrange a reasonable system of signs; manage and effectively exploit public land and public areas; maintain "Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday"; improve the efficiency of waste collection and treatment; arrange appropriate waste collection points, ensuring environmental aesthetics.
The city also strengthens inspection and strictly handles violations of construction order, noise pollution, sidewalk encroachment; regulates traffic, handles traffic safety violations; promotes the application of technology through the Smart Monitoring and Operation Center to handle violations.
In addition, encourage and reward effective initiatives and solutions; and at the same time strictly handle officials who violate regulations in the performance of official duties or interfere in the process of handling violations.
