At the 21st session of the People's Council (PC), term X, term 2021 - 2026 on the morning of December 11, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City said: "The theme of 2025 was determined by the City Party Committee as: "The year of focusing on streamlining the apparatus associated with cutting administrative procedures, effectively implementing the organization of urban government and specific mechanisms and policies, strongly promoting economic growth". With the requirement of high political determination, drastic, flexible and timely actions, to promote development, we must set specific goals to strive to complete the common goals of the city, creating a foundation for development in the period 2025-2030".
Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang also requested the delegates to focus on discussing, analyzing, and objectively and comprehensively assessing the situation. Point out the limitations and difficulties, clarify both objective and subjective causes. At the same time, propose specific and feasible solutions to effectively implement the city's socio-economic development plan for 2025.
It focuses on in-depth analysis and clarification of the reasons for the low growth in the first quarters of the year and the high growth in the last two quarters of the year. From there, it proposes specific tasks and solutions to effectively implement the city's GRDP growth target in 2025, creating momentum and a foundation for the 2025-2030 period and the following years.
Research, discuss, identify major revenue sources and work to prevent budget losses to achieve the total state budget revenue target for 2025. In particular, it is necessary to clarify the causes and solutions to overcome the two revenue items (land history and revenue from export activities) that are not achieved in 2023 and 2024.
Discuss and analyze objective and subjective causes and responsibilities of organizations and individuals leading to disbursement of public investment capital not meeting the set progress and plan. And have solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of this work in the coming time.
According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang, the City People's Council needs to study, discuss and clarify the new viewpoints and policies of the Central Government in accordance with the characteristics and practical situation of the city. Especially the special mechanisms and policies of the Politburo, the National Assembly and the Government recently issued for Da Nang city. From there, propose and build major, breakthrough goals and solutions for the city's development in the new period, together with the whole country entering the era of national development, the era of strong and prosperous development.
