The National Election Council has just issued a Resolution announcing the official list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly deputies by constituency nationwide.
In many northern mountainous provinces, teachers continue to be on the candidate list, creating an impression of the participation of the education sector in political life.
In Dien Bien, the whole province has 3 electoral units with 13 candidates to elect 7 National Assembly deputies.
Notably, among these are 3 kindergarten teachers. Including Ms. Ly Mi Le (born 2001, Si La ethnicity), teacher of Huoi Lech Kindergarten, Muong Toong commune; Ms. Hu Thi Duy (born 1994, Cong ethnicity), teacher of Nam Ke Kindergarten, Nam Ke commune; and Ms. Lung Thi Nga (born 1996, Cong ethnicity), teacher of Quang Lam Kindergarten, Quang Lam commune.
In Son La, there are 15 candidates for National Assembly deputies. Among them, teacher Lo Thi Vinh (born in 1993) currently working at the Faculty of Culture, Arts and Tourism, Son La College is one of the candidates in the education sector.
In Lao Cai, 18 candidates participated in the 16th National Assembly election, including 3 female teachers teaching at educational institutions in the area.
Including Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan (born August 25, 1987), teacher of Bao Ai Primary School; Ms. Ha Thi Hoa (born January 5, 1995), teacher of Tram Tau High School; and Ms. Si Thi Mai Anh (born October 10, 1991), teacher, Head of Professional Group, Secretary of the Council of Sa Pa Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School.
In Tuyen Quang, among the total of 18 candidates, there is a male teacher, Mr. Vu Mi Sinh (born November 26, 1982), a teacher at Niem Tong Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, Niem Son commune.
Meanwhile, in Phu Tho, Ms. Tran Thu Thuy (born August 22, 1991), lecturer at the Faculty of English, Hung Vuong University, is the only female face of the provincial education sector participating in the election of National Assembly deputies along with 28 other officials and civil servants.
The fact that many teachers, especially teachers working in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas, participate in running for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term shows the diversity in the structure and composition of candidates, and at the same time expresses the voice of the education sector in the highest state power agency.
