The 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress is one of the provincial Party Congresses held early in the country.
The congress will be attended by 366 delegates representing 59 affiliated party committees of the province, representing over 104,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.
Of which, the number of delegates is of course 39 comrades; the number of official delegates elected to 54 commune, ward, special zone party committees and 5 subordinate party committees is 327 comrades.
The Congress will fully implement 4 contents: Summarize the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determine the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress; elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; elect the Provincial Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.
Over the past term, Quang Ninh has achieved many important achievements in various fields, completing the set goals and targets, including many targets exceeding the target of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Up to now, Quang Ninh has risen to become one of the leading provinces in the innovation of the Northern Delta, a growth pole of the Northern region, increasingly clearly shaping a beautiful, civilized and modern Quang Ninh. Thereby, it has made an important contribution to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland, innovating and developing the country after 40 years of renovation.
Coming to the 16th Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress, implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW (dated April 14, 2025) of the Politburo, the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the successful organization of the Congresses of 54 Party Committees of communes, wards, special zones and 5 affiliated Party Committees to ensure compliance with principles, regulations, processes and requirements; the Congresses have contributed many valuable opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the 16th Provincial Party Congress.
In particular, in recent months, towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress, all levels, sectors, localities and units in the whole province have simultaneously launched many exciting and practical patriotic emulation movements associated with the implementation of political tasks of each field, each agency and each locality.
According to the program, on the afternoon of September 25, the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, began working, implementing the contents according to regulations and discussing in groups to contribute opinions on documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and documents submitted to the 16th Provincial Party Congress.
