Speaking at the official session of the Congress (July 18), Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan - Member of Standing Committee, Head of Propaganda Department and Hanoi Party Committee - emphasized: "The Party Committee highly appreciates the multi -disciplined and multi -disciplined university model with the Modern Universal Autonomous Management Mechanism and the VNU Party Committee of the VNU Party Committee are the strong and stronger and promotion of the Nuclear Party; The steps of many important indicators in the fields of science and technology, training, cooperation at home and abroad ... ".
In the coming term, comrade Nguyen Doan Toan suggested that the Party Committee of the National Assembly should pay attention to and focus on implementing the following key tasks:
First, continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, focus on Party building work in ideology, politics and ethics; promote the exemplary role of cadres and Party members, especially the leaders.
Second, affirming the leading role in innovation, effectively implementing key tasks in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, developing VNU to become a leading center for science, technology and innovation in the region; developing a startup ecosystem in the heart of the university, closely connecting with businesses and localities, especially Hanoi to focus on promoting strategic technology products.
Third, focus on comprehensive digital transformation, especially in university governance and training management; build a pioneering digital university model in Vietnam.
Fourth, strengthen comprehensive cooperation with the City; speed up the implementation of the construction and effective operation of the knowledge urban area in Hoa Lac, contributing to the formation of a new growth pole in the West of Hanoi.
At the Congress, Party Secretary and Director of the National Assembly of Vietnam Le Quan said that the 7th National Assembly Party Congress took place at a time when the whole nation was strongly transforming to rise up and develop.
Comrade Le Quan - emphasized: "The 7th Congress of the Vietnam National Assembly Party Committee upholds the spirit of innovation - national responsibility - breakthrough development. The entire Party Committee will strive, seize opportunities, create a breakthrough in development to turn VNU-VNU-VU into a leading innovation university, effectively and directly contributing to the country's development, successfully fulfilling the glorious mission assigned by the Party and State of training high-quality, highly qualified human resources, fostering talents, playing a core and pioneer of innovation in the Vietnamese higher education system".
Over the past 5 years, under the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and the efforts of the entire system, VNUHHN has achieved many important achievements, creating a premise for breakthrough development in the coming period. The position of VNU- s continues to be enhanced both domestically and internationally; the connection, interconnection and linkage in the system is increasingly enhanced; the pillar and leading role in comprehensive and fundamental innovation of education and training is affirmed.
Here, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 7th National Assembly Party Committee, term 2025-2030, consisting of 24 comrades with sufficient moral qualities, courage and capacity to shoulder the responsibility of leading the cause of building and developing the National Assembly in the next 5 years. Comrade Le Quan was re-elected as Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
