The 19th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress took place in the context of the country promoting reforms, streamlining the political system, exploiting maximum development resources, creating a solid foundation to enter a new era - the era of strong, prosperous and prosperous development.
A historic event before the Congress is the National Assembly's issuance of Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, accordingly, Ninh Thuan province will merge with Khanh Hoa province, the administrative center will be located in Khanh Hoa.
Next, the Party Central Committee issued Decision No. 318-QD/TW dated June 18, 2025 on the establishment of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
This merger is considered a strategic vision, creating a competitive advantage, promoting endogenous strength, opening up opportunities for Khanh Hoa to accelerate, make a breakthrough and develop sustainably.
In the 2020-2025 term, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces and the whole country will implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term in the context of many difficulties and challenges.
These are the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, global economic instability, geopolitical conflicts, and unusual climate change.
At the same time, the fourth industrial revolution with breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, big data, 5G network... has a profound impact on all areas of life.
Under the comprehensive leadership of the Party and the consensus of the political system, the people of the whole country have steadfastly overcome difficulties and achieved many important achievements.
The economy recovered quickly after the pandemic, inflation was controlled, the macro environment was stable, infrastructure investment achieved outstanding results, social security was guaranteed, national defense and security were consolidated, foreign affairs activities and international integration achieved many positive results.
Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan in particular, in addition to common difficulties, still have many development opportunities when socio-economic infrastructure is invested synchronously by the central and local governments; receiving close attention from the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government and ministries and branches.
In particular, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW (January 28, 2022) on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The National Assembly passed Resolution No. 55/2022/QH15 on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa and Resolution No. 189/2025/QH15 on special mechanisms for the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project.
These are considered strategic decisions, creating breakthrough development space for the entire South Central Coast region.
With the motto "Solidarity, Democracy, Discipline, Breakthrough, Development", the 19th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress is tasked with summarizing the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term of the two provinces, and at the same time setting out goals, tasks, and solutions for Khanh Hoa to develop strongly and comprehensively in the 2025-2030 period.
