In Khanh Hoa, Vietnam Railway Corporation and Vietnam Railway Trade Union have just organized a meeting with more than 100 union members and workers participating in the 2025 nursing program.
According to Mr. Mai Thanh Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union, the care program has been jointly organized by the company and the industry trade union in recent times to improve the health, material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
In particular, the subjects of care are union members and workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, or reduced working capacity of 31% or more; people working in heavy, toxic, dangerous and especially heavy, toxic, dangerous jobs who have reduced working capacity during work; union members with periodic health check-up results in 2024 and 2025 classified as Health Grade IV, Grade V.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation shared that railways are a special job, classified as arduous, toxic, dangerous, with a working regime according to the team, a strict and meticulous working process.
Although the Corporation and its affiliated units have made efforts, tried to invest in machinery and equipment, and applied new science and technology, they have not yet met the needs and requirements of reality.
These have had a certain impact on improving and enhancing working conditions and ensuring the health of railway workers.
The nursing health recovery program for workers is a specific and practical activity in caring for and caring for workers.
Not only creating a playground for workers to rest and recover their health, but also creating more spiritual motivation for each person to work with peace of mind, contribute intelligence and efforts to build a sustainable, safe, friendly and modern industry.
On this occasion, Vietnam Railway Corporation presented gifts to 14 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who had work accidents, and had poor health during their work and presented gifts to express gratitude to 28 outstanding female workers.
The Vietnam Railway Trade Union also presented a decision to reward 2 border guards of Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company for their brave actions in saving people and promptly preventing the railway accident.
