Summary of the term, looking forward to the future
According to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Congress will comprehensively summarize the implementation of the Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term, drawing lessons in Party building, socio-economic development, national defense and security.
On that basis, the Congress set out directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term, and discussed and contributed opinions to documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will take place on October 4-5, 2025, marking a new turning point in development after the merger.
The Congress identified the theme throughout the day as: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspiration; mobilizing and effectively using all resources, innovating, digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the Central region".
The Congress motto is: Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development. This is a guideline for the entire Party Committee and people of Quang Tri to aim for the goal of building an increasingly developed, rich and civilized province.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Truong An Ninh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, said that up to now, preparations for the 1st Provincial Party Congress have been basically completed.
The documents are carefully drafted, personnel work is carried out according to the correct process, ensuring strictness, democracy and objectivity. Propaganda, celebration, logistics and security work have been deployed synchronously, ready to serve the Congress. This is an important premise for the Congress to take place successfully, truly becoming a broad political activity, creating new confidence and enthusiasm in the entire Party Committee, the entire people and the entire army.
Breakthrough goals and new expectations
At this Congress, Quang Tri province set a development goal of becoming a province with a fast growth rate, a center for energy, logistics and tourism in the Central region by 2030.
By 2045, Quang Tri strives to become a well-developed province with a synchronous infrastructure system, a green and sustainable economy, and a civilized and fair society.
The key tasks identified include: building a clean and strong Party and political system; rapid and sustainable industrial development, in which energy and logistics are the driving force; focusing on developing strategic infrastructure, especially highways, seaports, international border gates; promoting innovation, science - technology, digital transformation in all fields.
The Congress also proposed breakthroughs: synchronous infrastructure development; promoting comprehensive digital transformation; improving the quality of human resources and staff at all levels; creating an open and transparent environment to attract investment.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department emphasized that the 1st Provincial Party Congress is an important political milestone, affirming the determination and development aspirations of the Quang Tri Party Committee and people.
The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department said that this Congress will not accept congratulatory flowers from localities and units.
The province has identified taking people as the center of development, mobilizing all resources to the maximum to build Quang Tri into a new growth pole, contributing strongly to the common development of the Central region and the whole country.
The 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, is an important political event, marking a new step of maturity of the province after the merger. This is not only a place to set a development direction but also demonstrates the belief, aspiration and determination of the entire Party Committee, the entire people and the entire army.
