On August 6, the Party Committee of Phu Thai Commune, Hai Phong City held the First Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030 with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Phu Thai Commune Party Committee - emphasized that the Congress took place in the context of Phu Thai Commune officially operating under the 2-level local government model, an important historical milestone in the process of streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency of the administrative apparatus. This is a special political event, determining the development direction and goals of the Party Committee in the period of 2025-2030.
In the 2020-2025 term, the localities before the merger have made efforts to overcome difficulties, complete and exceed many socio-economic targets. The work of building the Party, government, administrative reform, social security, and building advanced new rural areas has been implemented synchronously and effectively.
For the 2025-2030 term, the Phu Thai Commune Party Committee sets many important targets: each year, new party members are admitted at least 3%; establish at least 2 party organizations in non-state enterprises, cooperatives, and non-public service units; budget revenue increases by an average of over 13%/year; by 2030, the average income per capita will increase by 14%/year, poor households will decrease to less than 0.5%; communes meet model new rural standards.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Trung Kien - Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board suggested that the Phu Thai Commune Party Committee should proactively update and adjust the planning in a modern direction; develop industry, services, logistics associated with cultural conservation, improve the quality of life for people.
Mr. Le Trung Kien emphasized the need to innovate management thinking towards government creation and service; promote administrative reform, digital transformation; effectively promote models such as "Green Sunday", "Saturday with the People"; concretize the Congress resolution with a clear action program for people, work, and responsibility.
The first Phu Thai Commune Party Congress is an important milestone, opening a new journey with the determination to build a dynamic development locality, actively contributing to the common development of Hai Phong City and the country.
