According to the Project, the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang will merge and have a new name, Bac Ninh province, the administrative center will be located in the current Bac Giang city. The new Bac Ninh province will have a total of 99 communes and wards; population of 3,619,433 people.
The project has also agreed on the plan and roadmap for arranging and perfecting the organization of the apparatus of agencies and organizations after the arrangement of administrative units.
Accordingly, the names of the Construction Investment Project Management Boards will be changed to the Construction Investment Project Management Boards (according to the specialized field) of Bac Ninh province + the number of steps of the board.
The Committees will continue to operate by area. The project lists the list of project management boards under the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province (new) after the merger as follows:
Change the name of the Bac Giang Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board to the Bac Ninh Province Civil and Urban Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to assign the Bac Ninh Province No. 1 Civil and Urban Construction Investment Project Management Board to receive and manage 10 existing district-level construction investment project management boards of Bac Giang province when they end district-level operations.
Change the name of the Bac Ninh Province Civil and Urban Construction Investment Project Management Board to the Bac Ninh Province Civil and Urban Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 and receive and manage 8 existing District-level Construction Investment Project Management Boards of Bac Ninh province when they end district-level operations.
Change the name of the Bac Giang Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board to the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1.
Change the name of the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board to the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2.
