The conference also announced the Politburo's decision on the establishment of the new Hai Phong City Party Committee and appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee (new), term 2020 - 2025.
The Hai Phong City Party Committee was established under the Central Party Executive Committee on the basis of merging the Hai Phong City Party Committee and the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
The City Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term consists of 75 comrades, the City Party Committee Standing Committee consists of 20 comrades.
The Politburo appointed Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the old Hai Phong City Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the new Hai Phong City Party Committee.
4 comrades were appointed as new Deputy Secretaries of the Hai Phong City Party Committee. In which, Mr. Do Manh Hien holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the new City Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the new Hai Phong City People's Council; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the new Hai Phong City People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Lap - Chairman of the old Hai Phong City People's Council was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the new Hai Phong City Party Committee.
Also on the morning of June 30, the conference announced the decision of the Secretariat on appointing the Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairmen of the Inspection Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee (new); Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on appointing the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Council; Heads of the City People's Council's Committees; Heads of Delegations, Deputy Heads of the National Assembly Delegations of Hai Phong City (new); Decision of the Prime Minister on appointing the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee (new); Decision of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
