The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong city, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Investment Promotion and Business Support of Hai Duong province to organize the opening of the Photo Exhibition "Hai Phong - Convergence of Potential, Creating the Future" and display and introduce typical OCOP products, cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.
The photo exhibition displays more than 300 selected photos, introducing the outstanding achievements that Hai Duong and Hai Phong have achieved in many fields: economy, culture, society, national defense - security, foreign affairs... The photo works are both documentary and have high artistic value, demonstrating the strong transformation of the two localities in the process of innovation, modernization and deep integration with the region and the world.
The product exhibition space introduces 135 products of 21 entities, including 8 5-star OCOP products and many typical agricultural specialties and craft village products of Hai Duong province. This is a practical trade promotion activity to promote the image, enhance the value of local products, promote domestic consumption and seek sustainable consumption markets after the merger.
The exhibition is held simultaneously at two locations: Xu Dong Cultural Center (Hai Duong City) and Theater Square (Hai Phong City), creating a cultural and economic highlight to celebrate an important historical event: for the first time the whole country has a model of two-level local government after merging provinces and centrally-run cities.
