On July 23, the Hanoi City Police Party Committee held the 20th Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.
The Congress focused on comprehensively assessing the results of implementing the Resolution of the 28th National Congress, identifying directions, goals, tasks and breakthrough solutions for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, review the leadership of the Party Executive Committee of the previous term and elect a new Executive Committee.
Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, emphasized that, along with the task of ensuring national security, the Public Security is the pioneer force in implementing the Party's policies, especially in restructuring the apparatus, digital transformation, administrative reform, bringing the police closer to the people, closer to the people to serve the people.
According to General Luong Tam Quang, in the overall achievements and results of the capital Hanoi and the People's Public Security force, there are important contributions from the Hanoi City Police Party Committee. The Hanoi City Police Party Committee has clearly affirmed its leadership capacity and fighting strength in leading and directing all aspects of the work of ensuring security, order and building the Capital Police force.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee, term XXIX, 2025-2030. As a result, the delegates elected 27 members to the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
In which, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police, was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi City Police Party Committee; Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police, is Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
