Land, public assets, difficult and problematic projects, minerals, and construction materials are the focus of inspection in the coming time.

On September 6, information from the Government Inspectorate said that the Inspector General of the Government Nguyen Quoc Doan has just issued a number of directives related to key areas that will be inspected.

In September and the coming time, units under the Government Inspectorate are directed to focus on completing inspections, especially those that are still slow to issue conclusions; accelerate 8 ongoing inspections and surprise and specialized inspections, focusing on the fields of land, public assets, difficult and problematic projects, minerals, construction materials, surplus land after arrangement and some key economic sectors.

At the same time, strengthen supervision, appraisal and post-inspection monitoring, especially conclusions under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee.

Continue to improve the efficiency of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution; coordinate with localities to review, dialogue, and handle complex and prolonged cases, including groups of 226 cases and 210 cases, ensuring reports to the Prime Minister in September 2026.

Previously, in the 8 months of 2026, the entire Inspectorate sector had deployed 2,759 inspections, issued 2,207 inspection conclusions at 6,454 units.

Through inspection, 80,801 billion VND and 5,550ha of land were found to be economic violations; it was proposed to recover 1,131 billion VND and 207ha of land to the State budget; it was proposed to handle other 21,018 billion VND and 5,328ha of land.

The Inspectorate sector proposed to administratively handle 1,933 collectives, 3,677 individuals and transfer 50 cases, 116 subjects to the investigating agency.
