On August 31, information from the Bac Ninh Provincial Inspectorate said that, implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on the conclusions and recommendations of the Government Inspectorate related to the topic of redundant houses and land after arrangement, the unit has conducted surveys and classified cases subject to review.
The results showed that the whole province has 322 redundant, vacant or unused houses and land for more than 12 months.
Based on the recommendations of the Government Inspectorate, the Provincial Inspectorate proposed and recommended to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to assign the Provincial Inspectorate:
Establish inspection teams to conduct inspections of law compliance in the management and use of surplus, vacant, and unused houses and land that are not used for more than 12 consecutive months (according to Appendix 04a attached to Inspection Conclusion No. 437/KL-TTCP dated July 23, 2026 of the Government Inspectorate);
Develop a report on the results of inspection and examination, and propose handling of redundant, vacant, and prolonged land and housing facilities according to the recommendations of the Government Inspectorate.
Time and progress of implementation: For inspection teams: Inspection from September 7, 2026 to the end of September 25, 2026.
Complete the report on the results of inspection and examination, and propose handling of redundant, vacant, and prolonged land and housing facilities according to the recommendations of the Government Inspectorate, before October 10, 2026.
Previously, on August 7, the Government Inspectorate issued a Notice of Conclusion of the specialized inspection of redundant houses and land after arrangement in Bac Ninh province.
According to this notice, regarding resources for clearance, a total of 570 redundant houses and land facilities have not been put into operation and use, with a total land area of 86.8ha, and a total floor area of 345,617m2.
