In a document responding to the petition of voters in Ninh Binh province, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that in Conclusion No. 83-KL/TW in 2024, the Politburo assigned the Central Economic Commission (now the Central Policy and Strategy Commission) to preside over the preliminary review of Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW.
In particular, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs will coordinate with relevant departments, ministries and branches to study and evaluate the suitability, feasibility and propose the implementation of 5 new salary tables and 9 new allowance regimes of the public sector accordingly to submit to the Central Committee for consideration in 2026 when the Politburo promulgates and implements the system of Job Position Lists in the political system.
Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018 of the 7th Central Conference of the 12th tenure stipulates 5 salary tables including: 3 salary tables for the armed forces; 1 salary table for leadership positions (elected, appointed) in state agencies, public service units and 1 professional and technical salary table for civil servants and public employees in state agencies, public service units.
Including 3 salary tables for the armed forces, including:
1 salary table for military officers, officers, non-commissioned officers of the public security profession (according to position, title and military rank or rank);
1 salary table for professional soldiers, technical police specialists;
1 salary table for defense workers, police workers (in which the salary correlation of the armed forces is maintained compared to the current salary of administrative civil servants).
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that, based on the goals and tasks approved by the 14th National Party Congress, the socio-economic and financial development plans for the next 5 years, socio-economic conditions and the capacity of the State budget, the Ministry of Home Affairs will report to competent authorities to consider proposing a salary regime according to the roadmap in Conclusion No. 83-KL/TW.
