The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (March 22,55 - March 22, 2025), the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent a congratulatory message to the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, with the content of the congratulatory message as follows:
Throughout the glorious historical journey of the past 70 years, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people have overcome countless difficulties and challenges, achieved great victories of historical significance in the struggle for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, building the Lao People's Democratic Republic to maintain political stability, national defense - security are firmly consolidated, economic growth, social order and safety are guaranteed, people's lives are increasingly improved, and foreign relations are expanded.
The great and comprehensive achievements of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party have profound significance for the cause of protecting and developing Laos, contributing significantly to enhancing the role and position of the Lao Party and the Lao People's Democratic Republic in the region and in the international arena, and are a common joy, a great source of encouragement and motivation for the Party, State and people of Vietnam.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively support the Lao People's cai tien and firmly believe that, continuing the traditions of previous generations and promoting the achievements that have been achieved, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people continue to achieve many new and greater achievements in the cai tien, successfully implementing the goals of the Resolution of the 11th National People's Revolutionary Party and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan set out by the 9th National People's Revolutionary Party; especially successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 12th National Congress of the Party in early 2026; successfully building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos in accordance with the socialist goal.
We are very pleased to see that, along with the important achievements that the two Parties, two countries and peoples have achieved in recent times, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, founded and cultivated by the two Parties, two countries and peoples, has now become a common, unique and unique relationship in the world, an invaluable common asset of the two peoples, increasingly consolidated, developed practically and effectively, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
On this important event of historical significance, we once again express our deep gratitude for the great, valuable, wholehearted, loyal and effective support and assistance that the Lao Party, State and people have given to the Party, State and people of Vietnam and will do our best together with the Lao Party, State and people to forever preserve and constantly foster the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos to increasingly develop to new heights, for the benefit of the people of each country, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
