The representative of the Provincial People's Council (PPC) announced Resolution No. 03 dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, the establishment of specialized agencies includes: the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Finance with the Department of Planning and Investment; the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Construction with the Department of Transport; the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Science and Technology with the Department of Information and Communications; the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to transfer and appoint: Ms. Nguyen Lam Thanh Thuy - Director of the Department of Information and Communications - to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Van Vu Minh - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Tran Ngo Minh Tuan - Director of the Department of Construction - to the position of Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Nguyen Phi Da - Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office - to the position of Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Ms. Ngo Thi Ngoc Suong - Director of the Department of Finance - to the position of Director of the Department of Finance.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to accept, transfer, and appoint Mr. Le Chi Thien - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Lanh District - to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment. Previously, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer Mr. Le Chi Thien - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Lanh District - to work at the Provincial People's Committee from February 28, 2025 for the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to appoint him to the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
