Speaking at the forum, General Secretary To Lam hoped to quickly increase bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and the Russian Federation to match the potential strengths of the two countries. Therefore, the responsibility of enterprises of the two countries is very great.
The General Secretary hopes that through this forum, many cooperation agreements between businesses of the two countries will be signed to take advantage of each country's strengths, contributing to sustainable development in the coming time.
General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two sides continue to strengthen and promote economic - trade and investment cooperation; transport - transport cooperation; promote e-commerce, promote labor cooperation in the context of high demand from Russia; hoping that Russia will create conditions for Vietnamese graduate students to participate in research in areas where Russia has strengths such as nuclear, basic physics, etc.
The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam creates all favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to invest in Vietnam, including Russian-Federated enterprises.
On this occasion, a number of senior leaders of the two countries performed the button pressing ceremony to inaugurate the TH Clean Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga province, Russian Federation. The inauguration ceremony of the factory was held online, from the Moscow bridge connecting to the factory's bridge.
At the forum, 7 cooperation agreements were signed in the presence of senior leaders of the two countries. Including: Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and the Russian Historical Association on cooperation in the field of research and preservation of Vietnam and Russia's history.
The cooperation agreement between the Union of Vietnamese Friendship Organizations and the Russian International Cooperation Association on cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, science, culture, education, humanities, sports, tourism and people-to-people exchanges aims to further develop the traditional friendship and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
