On March 20, the Dong Thap Provincial Election Commission just issued Resolution No. 62/NQ-UBBC, announcing the list of people elected as delegates of the 11th Provincial People's Council (HĐND), term 2026-2031.
Accordingly, the list includes 85 elected delegates in 25 constituencies, representing many fields such as government, armed forces, education, health, press, businesses and socio-political organizations. The delegate structure ensures broad representation, fully reflecting all strata of people in the province.
In key electoral districts, many key officials and provincial leaders continue to receive high confidence from voters. Notably, there are comrades holding important positions in the leadership apparatus such as: Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, and many members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, directors of departments and branches.
Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Provincial Party Committee Member, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Trade Union Affairs Committee - was elected as a delegate to the 11th Dong Thap Provincial People's Council.
The list also records the participation of representatives of forces such as police, army, border guards; intellectuals, teachers, doctors; union and association officials; along with representatives of religious organizations. In particular, many delegates have high qualifications such as master's and doctoral degrees in the fields of economics, law, education, medicine...
Previously, the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in the province took place democratically, in accordance with the law, with a high voter turnout, showing the spirit of responsibility and people's trust in the local government apparatus.
