In 2024, our country's socio-economic situation will recover positively, reaching all 15/15 key targets, creating comprehensive changes in all fields.
In the first months of 2025, the macro economy will be stable; inflation will be controlled; industry, trade, services, and tourism will grow positively; attracting foreign investment will continue to flourish; science and technology, innovation and digital transformation will be promoted.
The fields of culture, society, health, social security, sports, and communication are of interest. Political stability; national independence and sovereignty are maintained; security and social order are guaranteed.
Foreign affairs work is proactive, comprehensive, effective, expanding development space and enhancing the country's position.

Goods exports show signs of slowing growth; the FDI sector still plays a key role, showing that there is still room to improve endogenous capacity, the level of trade concentration of Vietnam has increased (by the end of the first quarter of 2025, Vietnam's 3 largest export markets will account for 49% of the country's total export turnover, higher than double the 24% of 2015).
Financial markets, currencies and the banking system need to be closely monitored to promptly control arising risks.
"The Government is requested to report more fully on bad debt within the board, unpaid sales debt to VAMC and potential debts turned into bad debts to have a comprehensive assessment of bad debt pressure and appropriate solutions," said Mr. Phan Van Mai.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee also stated that the situation of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods of unknown origin continues to be complicated, especially cases related to fake milk, counterfeit medicine, and bean sprouts soaked in chemicals, causing social outrage and threatening public health. Some issues of social security and social order and safety also need to continue to be paid attention to and handled promptly.
