Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong met with voters after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Cam Thanh Ward and connected online to the communes and wards: Binh Son, Nghia Giang, Son Tinh, Son Ha, Minh Long, Nghia Hanh, Long Phung, Ba To, Duc Pho and Ly Son Special Zone.
At the conference, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ngai province informed voters about the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; listened to voters' thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations to the National Assembly and relevant agencies.
Accordingly, there were 20 voters' opinions with 38 contents related to life, security, economy, and society. Voters suggested that the implementation of the two-level local government model should increase resources, organize training to improve capacity for grassroots cadres; invest in facilities and technological equipment to serve the operation and management work to ensure efficiency and avoid overloading tasks for commune-level cadres.
Authorities need to tighten market inspection and examination, strictly handle the production and trading of counterfeit and poor quality goods, especially goods that directly affect people's health such as drugs, functional foods, and cosmetics.
Voters also recommended many contents related to investment in transport infrastructure, urban infrastructure, trade, services; works serving people; investment in health, especially grassroots health care to better care for people's health.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong hoped that voters would promptly reflect to the Central Government, National Assembly, Government, and local governments at all levels about the shortcomings and difficulties in the spirit of building, sharing, accompanying, and creating conditions for cadres, party members, and authorities at all levels to perform their functions and tasks well, together removing difficulties right from the grassroots.
Raise the spirit of vigilance, prevent distorted and sabotage discourses of hostile, reactionary, and dividing forces, contribute to protecting the Party, government and the homeland.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly noted that commune-level authorities must closely follow the people, close to the people, and resolve people's petitions right from the grassroots level, not push them upward, in the spirit of "locality decides, locality does, locality is responsible"; increase the application of digital transformation and online meetings.
